Janice Brooks attended medical school and did her radiology residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. She did a pediatric radiology fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio at Children's Hospital Medical Center. She was board certified in 1992 and received her certificate of added qualifications in pediatric radiology in 1995. She worked for 7 years at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. She then worked for a small community hospital - Mercy Medical Center - in Nampa, Idaho for 7 years. She has been with ARA since December of 2007.

Her radiology interests include pediatric radiology, pediatric neuroradiology and breast imaging. She enjoys patient contact doing US and CT guided biopsies. She works primarily at the Matsu Valley - IAP office.

Her personal interests include travel, scuba diving and shooting skeet. She is married and she and her husband have 4 grown children.
