Shannon Baker, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), joined the Alaska Radiology Associates staff in August 2005 after moving to Alaska from Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked in Lincoln as an interventional radiology nurse practitioner prior to her employment with ARA.  She completed her Master's Degree in Nursing at University of Nebraska Medical Center and is nationally certified as an ACNP.

Shannon met her husband, a Black Hawk helicopter pilot and police officer, in highschool in Nebraska.  They moved to Alaska to pursue their interests in hunting, fishing, outdoors, snowboarding, 4-wheeling, and raising a family.  They have 2 young children.
